Tax Registrations

1.GST Registration

Any business offering sale of goods with annual turnover of Rs.40 lacs or service with annual turnover of 20 lacs or supply goods and services inter-state or through E-ommerce platform would require the registration for GST and have a valid GSTNumber.

2. GST Modification

After receipt of GST Registration Certificate, if you wish to modify any fields such as name, address, email ID, contact details, you need to apply for GST Modification
request.

3. GST Cancellation

GST certificate shall be suspended immediately after the application for surrender of GST registration. No GST liability shall arise once you have applied for cancellation of GST registration.

4. PAN Application

PAN is mandatory for high value financial transactions and also for opening a bank account and Filing of Income Tax Return.

5. TAN Application

Every Assessee liable to deduct TDS is required to apply for TAN and shall quote this number in all TDS Returns and TDS payments

6. Professional Tax Registration

Professional Tax is the tax levied by State Government on the salaried individuals and Professionals subject to the maximum annual ceiling of INR 2500. Businesses need to register for Professional Tax within one month of commencement of business in that state.

7. 12A and 80G Registration

  • 12A and 80G registration are granted to the NGOs by the Income Tax Department.
  • 12A registration helps an NGO to exempt its surplus income from Income Tax Act
    subject to the minimum application of 85% in the same year.
  • 80G registration of an NGO helps its donor to claim income tax deduction U/S 80G

1.Startup India Registration

Startup India is the flagship initiative of the Government of India to promote a robust startup ecosystem in India. Eligibility Criteria for Startup Recognition

  • Entity Age: The Period of existence and operations of the entity should not exceed
    10 years from the date of its registration.
  • Entity Type: The Entity should be a Private Limited Company, a Registered
    Partnership Firm or a Limited Liability Partnership.
  • Annual Turnover: The Entity should have an annual turnover not exceeding Rs. 100
    crore for any of the financial years since its incorporation /registration.
  • Original Entity: The Entity should not have been formed by splitting up or
    reconstructing an already existing business.
  • Innovative and Scalable: The Entity should work towards development or
    improvement of a product, process or service and/or have scalable business model
    with high potential for creation of wealth & employment.

2.IEC (Import Export Code)

Import Export Code (IEC) is mandatorily required for businesses willing to do Import or Export of goods or services.

3.FSSAI Registration

FSSAI stands for the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. It is also called as Food License and mandatory for all the Food business operators in India.

4.ISO Certification

ISO Certification is the Management system for tandardization of products and services and quality assurance.

5.MSME Registration

If you own a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise and you haven’t registered your MSME yet, you should know that on registering your MSME via Udyam Registration and NSIC, you will enjoy numerous benefits such as collateral free loans, subsidy on Patent /Trademark registration, additional edge in Government Tenders & Protection against delayed payments etc.

6.FCRA Registration

FCRA Registration is governed under the Foreign Control Regulation Act, 2010 and
it allows the NGO to raise the donations from outside India.

Two significant categories defined for FCRA registration are Regular Registration or Prior Permission. Regular Registration are applicable only to NGOs which are in
existence for atleast 3 years, however Prior Permission application can be filed by New NGOs as well.

7.Shop & Establishment Registration

Shop and Establishment registration is a state-based registration required for the establishment of any commercial place such as a Shop, Hotel, Office etc.

8.Employee Provident Fund (EPF) Registration

Employees Provident Fund is the Scheme managed by Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). Registration is mandatory for the business employing more than 20 employees. It is a Retirement saving scheme provided by the government for all salaried employees in India.

9.ESIC Registration

Employees State Insurance provides medical facility to employees and is mandatory for the business employing more than 10 employees.

10.RERA Registration

Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) is an apex regulatory body to control the affairs of Real Estate Industry in India and protect the interests of Real Estate buyers & investors.
The RERA registration gives assurance of the credibility of the builder. Generally,
buyers prefer to deal with the builders who have RERA registration.

 

11.GeM Registration

Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)

A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is issued by the certifying authorities in India to verify and authenticate the identity of the individual holding the certificate.
